Summer at St Cuthbert’s

Summer at St Cuthbert’s

As the hot weather continues, here’s some dates for your diary this summer.

Sunday Worship

On Sunday 22nd June, we will be starting our service at the later time of 10.30. We welcome Luca Trim, parents Aaron & Jess, older brother Cameron and all their family and friends who will be joining us for Luca’s baptism.

The next of our special evening Prayer and Worship events takes place on Sunday 22nd, at 6pm in church. Join us for an extended time of prayer in God’s presence. We’re meeting every other Sunday evening, experimenting with different styles of prayer.

on Sunday 29th June we are having a joint service with our brothers and sisters in Hoddesdon, Broxbourne and Wormley. It’s a 10.30 start again, at St Catherine’s & St Paul’s church in Hoddesdon – opposite Morrisons.

Summer Stroll

On Saturday 5 July, we will be walking from St Cuthbert’s to Harlow along the river Stort. We will leave St Cuthbert’s at 8am, and aim to get to the Toby Carvery for brunch at 10am. Serious walkers can then take a longer route back, while snowflakes can get the train or a lift, from people who just come in their cars for brunch.

Picnic in the Park

We are planning another fun afternoon in Isabel Christie Park. Come with your picnic rug and sandwiches, and join us for music, games, craft activities and friendly chat in the park opposite St Cuthbert’s. Watch out for the date!
