Highlighting and supporting all who work in the caring professions, or who care for a loved one at home
Are you a carer? Do you have a friend or relative who does this role, paid or unpaid?
If you are paid as a carer, and you earn more than the minimum wage, you can count yourself lucky. If you are an unpaid carer, looking after a family member, you may never get a day off.
Caring is one of the most overlooked and undervalued activities in our society, yet we would all agree that it is noble, essential and often sacrificial.
We want to understand the pressures on carers better, we want to support and pray for carers in our community, and we we want to honour you and give you a little bit of the respect that you are due.
Please join us if you can for an hour and a half. Our service will include interviews with carers, prayer for everyone doing this role, and afterwards, refreshments, time to chat, and a small gift to show our esteem.
